Operation Christmas Child - Nov./Dec.
Operation Christmas Child is an exciting project of Samaritan's Purse that sends a message of hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift filled shoe boxes and Christian literature. This program provides an opportunity for all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on-mission project that reaches out to suffering children all over the world.
Opportunities for Service:
Pack a shoe box with age appropriate gifts.

Shoes for Orphan Souls - August
Shoes for Orphan Souls is an organization started by a disc jockey in the Dallas area who was very impressed by the plight of orphan children in Russia. He started to collect shoes by appeals on the air, and from there it grew and grew. Last year, they distributed shoes to children in some 30 countries.
Opportunities for Service:
Donate a new pair of shoes, socks, and shoelaces
Donate $5 for each pair of shoes to help with distribution
Donate $25 or more to help Shoes for Orphan Souls buy new shoes in countries where they can not be imported
Volunteer to lead a shoe drive
Help deliver shoes in Russia, Romania, Guatemala, and other countries
